The new AlterG anti-gravity treadmill provides patients with rehabilitation and training in a new, unprecedented way.

Using NASA’s Differential Air Pressure (DAP) technology, it is possible to use gentle lifting forces, due to the use of air, to relieve a patient’s weight for up to 20% of their body weight and set adjustable reductions in impact and gravity force during walking, running, or closed type kinetic exercises.

Reducing the force of gravity improves balance control and reduces the risk of pain and joint damage that could be caused by excessive leg strain. Besides, the length and width of the step, as well as the footprint on the track are measured, which allows to correct the gait as accurately as possible. Integrated Stride Smart gait analysis determines gravity load and provides simplified visual feedback to assess gait symmetry and pain levels.

  • AlterG Anti-Gravity treadmill for physical rehabilitation and painless training.
  • Uses air to reduce the patient’s weight for 20% – 100% of body weight.
  • Reduces impact and gravitation forces without compromising natural biomechanics.
